CCR Mold Removal came out to my condo in Chicago after I found little black spots behind a dresser in the bedroom. I was honestly thinking it was just dust from the radiator, but the smell was kinda sour and kept coming back. They did a quick inspection, poked around the baseboard and even checked the closet wall with a moisture meter, then explained what was going on without trying to scare me. The crew taped off the room, ran an air scrubber, and removed the nasty drywall section and the damp insulation. CCR took out the damaged drywall, cleaned and treated the studs behind it, and put everything back together. they also checked the vent line itself since that was contributing to the moisture issue. after reading through some reviews for mold companies in Chicago they seemed like the right call and that turned out to be true. the whole area is dry now and there's zero smell anymore which was a big deal because it was getting into our clothes. they were pretty efficient about the actual work too, didnt drag it out. the removal was done in one full day and we were able to get the machines back in the next morning
